I’M OFF TO BRASILIA AND SAO PAULO FOR EPIC CON AND EPIC MEETINGS!

Yup.  I’ve started packing for another trip to Brazil this week.  I’m flying down on Thursday to spend time with some of my favorite people.

First, Glass House Graphics’ biggest comics superstars will descend en masse this weekend for Epic Con — this Saturday and Sunday, September 18th and 19th, at the City Park Pavilion in Brasilia, Brazil.    Comic book greats MIKE DEODATO (Secret Avengers), WILL CONRAD (Wolverine: Origins and X23), CLIFF RICHARDS (Batman), FABIO LAGUNA (Scooby-Doo), and LEONARDO ITO (Supa Strika Weeklies) will join me there.

What’s on our weekend schedule?  Portfolio reviews and the largest, most star-studded Brazil-based Creating Comics Seminar in years!  Creative tips, advice on breaking in to the USA market, one-on-one art reviews, and plenty of autographs will all be part of the weekend-long event.  There will also be one-of-a-kind original art for sale, plenty of signed hard-to-find comics, and a whole lot more.

Afterward, of course, I’ll be flying on to Sao Paulo, where on Monday night I’ll be hosting a humungous dinner party for dozens of my artists — at the best Churrascaria on the map.  (If you’re one of my Brazil-based artists and haven’t RSVP’d, it’s be a good idea to do so today.)  I did one of these last year, and we had a blast. Some of our newcomers got to rub elbows with the likes of Luke Ross, Fabio Laguna, and colorist-cum-MTV star PC Siqueira, so we all had one heck of a good time.  Nobody goes away hungry from one of our events!
